Hi @GetTheGat! You should use the universal hand test, put your hand above the canopy for a minute and see how it feels, if your hand gets too hot, your plants will also suffer. Remember it's easy to burn apical summits with HPS so you better reduce the distance step by step, and see how the plants react. Happy growing! 👊

My method is simple ! Without cooltube 250w (hps or MH ) = 25cm // 400w = 40cm // 600w = 60 cm . With cooltube its more like 15 cm for 250w , 20 for a 400 and 30 for a 600w

When I used to run hps the sweet spot was around 16 inches for the 600 watt. You never want to go closer than 14 inches. I always run oscilating fans between the lights and the plant to help prevent hot spots and burns. Good luck finishing them up!

Well for that light 600 watt HP's you would need to be at least 24 inches above the plants and if they are healthy and taking the light well then you shouldn't need to do much about them and that height. They look healthy and like they are loving the lights and setup good to see cheers ..
