Will it help me much if I cover all the walls with white plastic ? Or because of the size of the room will it not make much difference? Room is about 7Mx5m

"Black & White Panda Plastic Sheet" , 300microns VERY cheap!!! It's 99% same as mylar, and 90% cheaper.

Get some mylar, it works better than white, you get extra buds without lst !

I also use an open room to grow , and I had that very thought , but after considering that my plants will never fill the room or be within close proximity to the side walls , I figured it would just create unnecessary cost , time and most likely have very little affect, something to consider thoe is substantive side lighting seems to be the next best thing 👍

I'd paint it white, silk so it's more reflective. Better than sheeting imo

Absolutely. You are better off to go grap a roll of reflective material at your local hardware store and hang it up on your walls though.

You trying to bring humidity up/down. If not im thinking it will cause mold from condensation if it gets to hot and the plastic most likely build moisture.. but sounds good only way to know is find out bro.

I can't tell what color your walls are, but yes, white walls will reflect more light toward your plants and should help a little.

Anything that increases the reflectiveness of the walls will help, Mylar would be better but if the walls are a nice white already I probably wouldn’t bother with white plastic.

Of course it would. You could just as well paint the walls bright white.

My opinion is that it’s not gonna add but a few more percent of usable photons. The painting route is decent idea. That’s what I did in my flower room.

That it really won't make much of a dif man, I wouldn't bother, unless you have some shiny underlay from doing floor, (and even then, you dont need it), all your doing is planting a room for plants. With enough over head lights and movement of your plants every once in a while to allow others to enjoy a higher ppf. That'll be enough. Nice grow up. Scaling up the grow, nice. happy growing

You have plenty of light there my friend. There is reflective paint available now that has more percentage of reflective qualities. Black and white plastic is good but can be a fire hazard as well. Keep and wires and ballasts away from it. when it catches it drips fire everywhere. Happened to my bud. Was scary....

If the walls are already white then it wont make that much diff to whats already there. White walls are surprisingly good at reflecting light as it is, most pple dont know that.

Cover or paint them all flat white. It can't hurt.

white flat-matte paint. Definitely worth it. Will help increase light around edges and corners slighatly... fairly cheap to do and does provide some other benefits - easier to clean, moud resistance options etc. if available.. at one time the Behr premium plus white ("pp1" model number ? or similar.. ends in pp1 i'm 99% certain) was the most refelctive of paints tested (can probably find same google result as i did.. they actually used equipmentn to measure it properly etc). highest RGB values attest to that on paint can specs.. there is a spec "RF", "RI" ? can't recall the acronym but is also not always included on a paint can's information... higher the value to more reflective it is... the flat matte finish is important because you never want a mirror-like surface. you want the photons spreading out. So avoid glossy finishes.

Could use white paint or a special paint designed for reflecting light. If cost is an issue matte white works best. www.youtube.com/watch This clip shows how white paint worked better then entry level Mylar. Good Luck!
