Overflow Strawberry Gorilla/Cookies

January 3, 2024 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 10 Curing Gorilla Cookies: Harvest Day! After 120 days of growth, she is finally done. She weighed 25.5 oz whole plant. I had to chop her up to fit her in the tent with the other Gorilla Cookies from the main tent. Surprisingly, she weighed more than the other Gorilla Cookies by 1.5 oz. For only a 1 gallon container, she ended up being huge. Most of the weight is from leaves and stems. But the majority of the tops are pretty impressive even for foxtailing everywhere. Dry System Environment: Temp: 62° RH: 55% January 4, 2024 Now that 2 plants are in the dry tent, I was afraid of it being overcrowded. And it was for a little bit. Then the leaves shrunk in and pointed down and there is just enough space between branches that I'm satisfied. I'll definitely have to rotate the drying rack every other day to prevent uneven drying and any mold or mildew from growing. Although, I don't think that will be a problem with the environment. Gorilla Cookies: Day 2 Drying I'll be flipping the rack around today. January 6, 2024 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 13 Curing Gorilla Cookies: Day 3 Drying January 7, 2024 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 14 Curing I'll be waiting for a month before cracking the grove bag. So 2 more weeks left on this lady. Gorilla Cookies: Day 4 Drying January 8, 2024 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 15 Curing Gorilla Cookies: Day 5 Drying January 9, 2024 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 16 Curing Gorilla Cookies: Day 6 Drying She's all alone now. I trimmed the other Gorilla Cookies and bagged it up. This lady may be done in a few days. January 10, 2024 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 17 Curing Gorilla Cookies: Day 7 Drying I'm not too sure, but I think she'll be done in a day or 2, but probably in the next day. Some of the tiny branches snapped. But only on a couple of them. I've also managed to bring the RH up to 55% but the temp is a bit high at 65°. I would much rather the 62° it's been hovering at for the whole drying process. January 11, 2024 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 18 Curing Gorilla Cookies: Day 8 Drying I think I have to start trimming today. I'm nearly certain that I'm over drying the buds when I start trimming due to the super low RH. So I don't think the snap test works for me. I think I need to focus on how crumbly the leaves get. I did squeeze a bud and it felt pretty good. A bit sticky, but felt good. Unfortunately, I can't smell anything really. Like the Terpenes all degraded. I don't know how that would happen. Maybe it's the fact that I have a constantly running extraction fan? It's on very low though. January 12, 2024 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 19 Curing Gorilla Cookies: Day 1 Curing All trimmed up from last night. A total of 97 grams. 72 of it was decent bud and 25 of it was larf. However, because the whole plant ended up foxtailing, it took nearly all day to trim. It was worth it though. 3.5 oz is a decent yield. Now for a couple weeks of curing. Also, sorry, but no big nug pics. It's all foxtailed and I don't have any that I like enough to photograph anyway. Trust me, nothing to worry about. Lol January 18, 2024 Just checking in. It's been a week since Gorilla Cookies started curing and everything looks great! Strawberry Gorilla is nearly done with her 4 week cure. I can't wait to try it out. January 12, 2024 Gorilla Cookies Smoke Review: Spicy! That the prominent smell and taste from this lady. A bit sweet on the inhale and a bit skunky on the exhale, but still all spice. The high is punchy and hits pretty hard upfront, then moves into a more soothing relaxed state. I still remained really alert and aware. No real couch lock effect. Very pleasant. The high is also pretty strong but the smoke is super smooth. As for side effects, there doesn't seem to be much. Maybe a little cotton mouth, but not much at all. Medicinally, it's helping with my current migraine and anxiety. I'd say this is a nice weekend smoke. Great for relaxing, but also great for getting things done. At least so far that's what I've experienced. I'll update in a couple of days with a better feel of the high. Day 1 Curing All trimmed up from last night.
