78,600 lumens at canopy, ok for pre-flower and flowering?I have recently received a lumen meter. Measuring 78,600 lumen over canopy, is that OK? For my other grow, does anyone know how many lumens seedlings need (at about 25000 now) ? I can convert from PPFD or PAR. Educate me! Thanks

How to tell if light is damaging plant?I'm using a Mars Hydro Ts600. Manufacturers advice is to keep height at 12'' minimum above the canopy in flower but other growers report it can hang as low as 10''. In identifying optimum height how would I be able to tell if it was too low for my plants? What should Iook for?

NEED SOME ADVICE! Change to LED from HPS? which ones are good for tent size? Which ones are good for good yields?I've got a 4x4 tent with 8 seedlings in cups but will be in 11L pots. Currently I had a 600w HPS light but my ballast busted today. I have a back up CFL 150W not to mess up the light schedule. Thinking about changing to LED lights, I know it'll be cheaper but I want same yield...

Changing light cycle on seedlings?Can I run autoflower seedlings under 24/0 light cycle until they reach mature veg stage, and then move them into an 18/6 light cycle? amount of sunshine for autos in late flower - open air, outdoor grow We're getting 14-15 hours of strong sunshine a day. Now that I'm late flower, should I move my autos into a spot that will get shade for half of the day? Seems like they may not need to be pounded by this much light/heat at this point and could use more down time.

light bleaching Why are my leaf tips getting bleached still? I have the light 18 inches from the canopy which is what is recommended for veg, and that's only around 400umol/m2s but the leaf tips keep burning. Temps are low if anything, consistently between 65 and 75 farenheight.
