Many tents include an extra piece of fabric in the package. If you saved that it is easy to cut a piece and glue to your tent. There is also tape designed to repair tents and puffy coats. It sticks well to fabric and is easy to apply. Small holes can also be filled with black silicone sealant.

The foil tape is not good as it will act like a mirror and can create hot spots, best you just use some good duck tape on the outside.

How big are the holes?! I'd put duct tape on the outside... if you then also need to repair the inside, try some foil tape they use for vent sealing HVAC - it's nice and shiny and will reflect well.

Making repairs it’s pretty straightforward. You can either apply tape to the exterior, a duct or gorilla tape ( my favorite ) or search online for a reflective repair tape if you plan to apply to the inside of your tent. Best of luck 🤞🏻 🌱 👊🏻
