Overflow Strawberry Gorilla/Cookies

December 20, 2023 Day 106 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 5 Drying Gorilla Cookies: This is the last week of nutrients. Next week will start the flush cycle for 2 weeks I think. There's a whole lot of nutrients in the soil. She's getting more orange pistils now. About 50% I'd say. Her buds, although foxtailed, are pretty dense. It should be fine from now on with the light distance in the Main Tent. Trichomes are still nearly all clear. I'll start flushing when she has 50% cloudy. She got a reservoir refill today. And a very slight top feed. Just under a liter or so. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.8° RH: 46.4% VPD: 1.44 kPa December 21, 2023 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 6 Drying I checked the branches today. Definitely another 5 days left. Happiness permeates my bones. This will be some really nice smoke. Gorilla Cookies: She's looking pretty good. Still has all those foxtails, but dense and her aroma is wonderful. No water needed today, but she will continue to get nutrients for the next week. Then I'll start flushing her. Other than that, nothing else to report today. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.6° RH: 45.6% VPD: 1.45 kPa December 22, 2023 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 7 Drying I checked the branches today and they are getting close to done. 2 of them snapped with ease, but the rest are still kinda bendy. Another couple of days I think. Gorilla Cookies: Not much going on today. She got a reservoir top off today and that's all. No leaves to remove, no rotations be needed. Although, I may try to rotate her 90° tomorrow. We shall see. Anyway, the buds are bulking up now and starting to put some serious weight on. I don't think it will be nearly as much as the other 2 Gorilla Cookies in the Main Tent, but still a decent harvest from a foxtailed plant. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.7° RH: 45.6° VPD: 1.45 kPa December 23, 2023 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 8 Drying Gorilla Cookies: This lady is doing quite well. She isn't doing much in the sense of bulking up that I can tell, but I can feel the buds getting hard and more dense. Maybe she is bulking and I just can't tell. It could be possible. The tops are all foxtailed so I don't have much of a gauge for density. I checked her trichomes today. Nothing to write home about though, so I don't have pics posted yet. I'll start trichome pics and a video next week. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.5° RH: 43.3% VPD: 1.50 kPa December 24, 2023 Strawberry Gorilla: Complete Trimmed and jarred at 66 grams. Gorilla Cookies: She looks like the rest of this week is all she needs before the flush period. Not much going on today. Just trimming Strawberry Gorilla. She doesn't need any water or anything. I don't know if I've mentioned, but she smells really sweet and gassy. Different from Strawberry Gorilla. Anyway, not much else to comment on. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.5° RH: 45.8% VPD: 1.44 kPa December 25, 2023 Merry Christmas! Strawberry Gorilla: Day 1 Curing Gorilla Cookies: This little lady is doing alright. She's putting more weight on the bottom branches. Slowly, but it's getting there. She still has a good 3 weeks left. She got a full top feed today. About 2 liter as well as a reservoir refill. It was bone dry. The soil wasn't too far behind either. I added an extra 2 ml to Overdrive today. Just wanna give her a final boost for the rest of the grow. Even the foxtails are starting to get super dense. They are also hardening off. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.3° RH: 49.5% VPD: 1.33 kPa December 26, 2023 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 2 Curing Gorilla Cookies: This lady is near ready for flush. I'll start after she drains out her reservoir. Should be a few days. I'll also check the trichomes tomorrow. When they start showing more cloudy I'll start flushing. Which ever one comes first. I'm betting a few more days. The timing should be perfectly on point. Anyway, her buds are definitely putting on more weight and the lowers are starting to get a bit heavier. There will be tons of larf and popcorn though. No big deal, as long as the popcorn hardens off. I also rotated her a bit. Around 90°. Just trying to get more light to the lower part of the plant. One last thing. The top half looks like it could be harvested today, but the bottom half looks like it needs another week. Fortunately, I have supplemental lighting on the way.
