Why are old years diaries allowed in grower of the month contest? Shouldn't these reflect current grows? @

@Natrona, its only for finished diaries, so they allow any diaries that are complete. But once that diary has been used in the competition then it can't be used again. It's been like that a long time. There are the occasional comp where live diaries can be entered.

I just updated my diary after dry and trim and it won't show my smoke review, shows the dry weight but doesn't show taste, effects, smoke comment, etc.
Maybe it will show up later 🤷♂️
I would love to win but chances are probably low, just wanted to update the details to see if it brings me up in the rankings but frustrating when it won't save the data you enter.

@cultivars, yes you can withdraw before the end of the month and still enter it again but if you wait until the countdown starts its too late

@Bandit600, @Newt_Loop yeah, I don't think there is much of a chance for first time growers or users of this site, particularly when the competition includes eligibility for any completed diary from any point in time in the site's database.
I wonder, if one were to just withdraw, would their diary still be eligible for entry in a future Diary of the Month (after its gained more views, likes, comments and overall attention)? Maybe @GrowDiaries could weigh in on that?

Was ein beschiss hier bei GD wenn man die Gewinner Diaries anschaut sind die meisten schon 2-5 Jahre alt und kein Anfänger darunter. So traurig 😭 hier das immer wieder die selben Leute gewinnen 🤮
