Here is a little guide to help you win: Details. You Diary should be as complete as possible. Take pictures of each and every part of your plant that, in your opinion, is a significant indicator of a state of your grow. Fill in each week, describe your techniques, add descriptions to the images you upload, outline your setup, add a comment to each week, participate in discussions in the commetns section, include information about feeding and watering, log in wet and dry harvest weights, mention grow lights, etc. Quality images. Make sure to use a good camera, take as many pictures as you can. Turn off grow lights to take pictures (!) Add videos. Learning aspect. Teach us something! How do you mix your soil? Maybe you have a video about topping your plant? Can you share your DIY ScrOG setup? Please share this information with us, it will be your ticket to win the contests. Story. Spice it up, make it an interesting read. What challenges do you overcome while growing? Anything from mold to hurricanes in your area works! Perhaps, you grow in a special location? Is there a story about obtaining your seeds/clones? We also saw some interesting things like song of the week, DIY of the week, grow tip of the week... Make it special and it's a win! Plant. Do your best, as always. However, please note, the quality of your plant/skills is not as important as richness of your Diary. @TheBug,so explain then if my journals are always complete i allways provide every info and take daily pictures and more i explain every step why o why have i never won anything why o why like in the growcaps challenge are there winners with incomplete diary’s and diary’s that dont explain anything just 2 pics a week and they are winners dont come with such lame ASS excuses be honest and say that who ever uses the most of the sponsors shit is the winner 😉🤨

@TheBug,and i allways keep a very detailed diary so others can learn so dont give me that bullshit of Richness of your diary i have seen people win this with only 3 weeks of journal filled in so dont say that the most complete journey wins cause ask Some of the top growers they can all tell you without doubt that this is just bullshit and i not in this to win it but its allways the same so in short dont do anything and just Dick arround and you Will win this

@Silky_smooth, Ummm, I can't explain anything. I am completely new to this site, with just one grow under my belt. Saw that post on the journal page and figured it would answer the question asked. @TheBug, Thanks! Well, I feel I have done 80-90% of that which you mentioned. The one issue I have never been able to overcome is placing descriptions with the photos. I have tried yet, it never allows me to input any information.

@Silky_smooth_smooth, I noticed the same things. Just a few weeks filled out with barely anything written. That is why I asked wuzzup? Take a look at my previous LSD-25 Diary, I ended the Harvest with a thorough Video which went from seedling to taste test with a music soundtrack. Personally, I thought it was a pretty good visual of the entire grow. I believe I was within the last 5 on the list while somebody like the diary you mentioned was the winner. Oh well, I don't grow to win prizes anyway! I won't be growing for some time as I have plenty to last a long time. I may try putting some Auto's outdoors & see how they do. Take care & Good luck!

@R_Owl_Mirror,thats true what you say but it would be nice to win one for a change instead of all those punk ass wannabe growers no offence everybody should learn after all i’m growing for 20 years now and still learning every day master techs and learning from masters like my homie totem or tonino or budrick the artist formely known as bulbi many others but these are my last diary’s here cause its not even funny anymore like it is for the last months they give challenges and for sudden but unknown reasons they extent the sign up dates because they dont have enough people who want to join so dont do 10month challenges then it all depends on them i know they dont like to hear this but its true and they know it you’ll see 😉😉

@Silky_smooth, lol! I don’t have enough DOTM entries that I would consider “good enough” to make that judgement call. That’s just based on some of the competition which is crazy good! Agreed though, it sometimes seems the decisions are a little strange when u look at some of the ones who don’t win.... hmmm🤔🤔🤔🤔

@DILLIGAF, and the reason they probably don't send too auzzie is your country's customs must be strict on seeds or nutrients chems and stop them at the boarder ?

@LockDownGrow, if they sent the seeds merchandise etc in plain packaging without thier brand name anywhere on it all would be good but yes our customs and biosecurity are very strict and will check anything labelled to do with growing, seeds or even an image with a dope leaf on it lol
