Hello @Greend ! It looks like you topped it properly but a little bit soon i could say. It is best to wait until 4th-5th node. Anyway, have in mind for the next time after any kind of training or pruning to spray immediately with a kelp extract. Kelp extract has minerals and natural hormones that helps the plants to overcome the stress of those techniques almost immediately. That's very important especially at auto flowers whose life time is limited. Happy growing ! 👊

Hi Greend, its always te big question to to or not to to automatic plants. Some strains accept it, others not. I topped my RQS-Line8Easy Bud, Stress KIller, and Northern light) these are very resiliant strains. I did not top my SWS Dark Devils, because they are tricky. ( LIke most Automatics) Automatics love it to have BIg space in fluffy prefertilised soil and haveing no Stress, they hate it to be transplantet. My advises to you. Let the Girls recover for a week days, then transplant them into their final pots /very gently). Try LST That works wonderful whith Automatics and you have a great Effect. I did it the First time whith my Dark devils.... and they look very good. And you can see the difference between topping and LST. Keep in you mind that they are automatics and their life circle is very short. from germination on the clock is ticking....and everything that stresses them slowes the growth and development.... Happy Growing

Hi @Greend! Closeup pictures would have been helpful but from what I see on your latest pictures I think you've done it right. Don't touch them / don't manipulate for a few days so they can recover quickly, help them by raising-up the relative humidity to 65-75%. Finally since it's your 1st grow, here are 3 advices for you: 1/ Don't forget about the wet/dry cycle --> roots need to alternate between wet phases and dry phases, in order to properly spread, looking for water & nutrients. 2/ Don't overwater, it's a common mistake for beginners. Water with 15-20% of the container's capacity until you got a strong plant / big drinker. 3/ Take it easy with nutrients, autoflowering strains are pretty much sensitive to nutrients intakes, I'd recommend to start with 1/4 of what the fertilizer's schedule says, then slowly increase EC/ppm if the plant is responding well & looking healthy. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

you did top correctly, but perhaps a bit early? you want to have more nodes on your ladies, i would wait another week so you don t shock your plants that much... life finds a way you know so you ll be fine. A+ 🚀 good luck !
