Mars hydro Pure breeding rock candy cake

Hey there growmies! We are back with more exciting updates this week which in my disbelief, already marks the beginning of week 9! This week it is my pleasure to announce that we have a new addition to our team! They have been in our garden since literally day one. They offer a range of quality products at a budget friendly price point- anybody care to take a guess? It’s Mars hydro! I first heard about them from Dr.cocos site and YouTube videos and lit up my very first space with their tsw 2000 and now we are fortunate enough to be partnering up with them! I am very excited to explore some of there other offerings! With that being said, let’s get into it! This week has been an adventure in itself! I blinked and that winter weather that was down the road? Is now here and here to stay! So some moves had to be made to make sure everyone is comfortable despite the colder temperatures that are now upon us- It’s like the stars aligned and my buddy that introduced me to the wonderful world of growing, had come across an unopened Mars hydro 3x3 that he didn’t have space for and was wondering if I needed one- umm yes please!!!! So I happily took that off his hands and almost immediately started putting it together when I got home. I quickly came to the realization that this 3x3 was in fact a 5x5!! I let him know about the mix up and he said that if I had a use for it, I could hold onto it- needless to say, we are now rocking the 5x5 and are now confronted with the new questions- where will this go and what equipment will we use to power it? I lucked out and my wife was cool enough to donate a portion of her jewelry studio for the cause and that’s where it will reside with the winter season… as far as how to power it? Well I decided that instead of just moving my spaces, I took down two of my 3x3s and am going to put all that good stuff into the 5x5- I had to choose either over powered or underpowered with the lights and ventilation and I decided to go with overpowered and I plan on doing my adjustments on the knobs/controllers. The most painful part of the process thus far was the fact that I had JUST gotten a real nice canopy goin on the rock candy cake and now I had to undo all that I had done, just to move it all 20 feet as the crow flies…. Yup, that hurt… but alas, had I not moved it- she would’ve met a shivery death in her other location, it just wasn’t fit for winter so a bit more effort but well worth it in my opinion! The rock candy cake did well with the move and i had been noticing some new growth- I let it go a few days before training it back down which I just got into today. I expect those tops will be turning up back up towards those lights over the next couple days so that canopy should be back in good shape before we know it! I am excited to flip it to flower but I am trying to show some self control and spread things out just a little more to get that 3x3 coverage. I can’t wait to see what she can really do!
