Welcome back to my lair, soon we will delve into the terrifying world of the CCC once again and find out what has been happening in “TFTC: The Dreaded Strawberry Cough”, we will follow the progress of our mad scientist in creating the ultimate plant to carry a virus that will change the course of history. First, we would like to thank Zamnesia, without them there would likely be no story, their seeds has inspired a story that I hope you all enjoy, so I think it is safe to say that we are all grateful for them and the wonderful work they do, building an inclusive culture of people who love to expand the mind and experiment in life. Without further ado, it is our ghastly delight to give you this week's episode of “The Dreaded Strawberry Cough”.
========================================================================
My first week in the CCC, I Mark Anthony have landed where my work is appreciated, here my name will be made and the world will never forget the work that my own hands have wrought. Sure, the CCC has moved my work to a small space, but it will suit my needs. It has everything needed: a fan, reflective walls, a strong light and an extractor so fumes do not build up too much, and will not be making the same mistake as others to fall victim to my own success.
The manager of this facility, a man named Dave came to visit, the only distinguishable feature was his size as most clan members wear their robes with hoods up. He wished to see my progress, when I explained that the plants would need to be grown out to first see if they would be worthwhile, that they were seedlings and would take time to grow. Obviously he was not happy with my report, he scoffed and said “Weeks?!? Most of the other scientists have some form of a working prototype, one of them has even managed to poison another scientist. This is rather disappointing”. So here I am, moved to the small room by a small minded fool, let them disregard me, my time will come.
Week 1 has gone well, the seeds were planted in the soil that was prepared for them, very quickly they popped their heads up, the cotyledon soaked in the humid light filled air and soon true leaves sprouted. Soon we shall see if this plant has what it takes to change the world. I made a small biodome over them using a plastic cup: I was always taught while growing up to reuse things, a little plastic cup is ideal to shield the seedling from too much light (although I had used the dimmer to put the light down to 20%), the small dome also keeps moisture in, most plants in the early stages rely heavily on collecting moisture through the leaves, so it is best to keep them in a humid environment.
There are already choices to be made, one has grown like the pictures showed, the other looks tattered. It would be easy to just think “The one with perfect leaves will be the best”, but show me one maniac who didn't have a twisted past, so maybe the plant has grown perfectly into what it needs, it is possibly as twisted as me.
When returning to my lab one day I noticed a flitting from the corner of my eye, someone was buzzing around, trying to interfere with my work, so my mind went all MacGyver, I made a sticky yellow trap at the door way, now any unsuspecting snooper will be caught in the act. Pests are one of my pet hates.
Nearly each night and morning I spray the plants with a special solution, they also get a watering using root juice, for every great building needs a great foundation, anything to make them healthy and happy, anything for them to grow up and be my revenge on the world.
Here I work, the plants grow, my vengeance is taking root and the world slumbers on my efforts, soon everyone will know my greatness, soon the world will fear my name, and Dave, that prick will be the first person to worship my genius. Soon….soon.

Well hello my dastardly growers, thank you for taking the time to indulge me while we told another episode, we hope you have enjoyed the show. More than anything, if your mind has wandered and like a mad scientist you wish to try something new, check out our sponsors Zamnesia; I am currently making a list of things I plan on buying, there are too many, so many experiments to try and not enough time (or money) to indulge first on that list is Blue Lotus, apparently it has a nice companion effect. So check them out and enjoy this code to Get 20% off with: ZAMMIGD2023, I know I will.
Thank you once again to Zamnesia, and thank you for spending some time with me in the Closet, until next time, Good night and ganja speed.

Notes:
Things have been a little slow, I will be honest and say that there is some work to be done on my watering technique; I just get so paranoid that there is not enough water, the tent is dry and so the medium dries out fast.
Each day they get a little water (around30ml) with Root Juice and a little Formulex. I spray the top soil a lot and spray the inside of the plastic cup, just to keep humidity high. Something I have noticed, never hold the spray bottle too close to the seedlings, the spray power is a little too much and knocks the plant over, so I will be trying to lightly mist from further away, around 40-50cm to make sure they don’t feel the force of the hurricane.
@Patricia_Zamnesia,
Ha! yes they are, and yes I am, they do not seem to be around much, but I do see some evidence of leaves being chewed, luckily these are autos so will be done before anything bad happens... I hope.
You are a main character! Hope you can handle the spot light.
@Jobbie, I certainly do!! It is an honor to be in one of your fantastic stories. I do hope you get rid of those pesty bugs, those little buggers are a pain in everyone's "bud's". 🌱💙
@Anonymous_2022, I currently have a plant in a small cupboard I converted, no diary just wanted to experiement, but I thought it was an auto seed, was not an auto seed, 6 weeks flower in a 45x55cm space is a bit tight lol.
🤣🤣You have captured patricia perfectly... Like you have known her for years. Still love to read all your diaries. It feels like a break during office hours. Keep up this wonderful writing, and I have to mention, the little ladies look very good. 😍It is obvious you put a lot of love in them. 🌱💙
@Patricia_Zamnesia,
Thank you for your lovely message, to me it is important to use all sources of inspiration. I am meaning to do more writing when I get a chance, like... proper writing, I will even edit it and do drafts, but that is a future project.
I love the plants, they are what keep me sane...r. If you have any other ideas or thoughts just give me a message, thanks.
And if they want to know about your past, it is necessary to tell a lie, say that you come from there, from a strange world, that you do not know about pain and that you have never cried. 🤷♂️
@XII_XII_MrGreen,
Thanks buddy, I just wanted to take it away from the scientific scope and add a little creativity, try and represent the plant and what it can do for us in fun light. Thanks for reading! 💚
