Introduction - Week 26|19 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 9666.86, Ooo yea! Another grow cycle has been completed! Harvested the 4x4 tent and now starting the dry phase! As usual, going to be logging the entire process until the final dry weight. Absolutely surprised on the harvested wet weights and am stoked for the final dry weights! Been focusing my attention more on the 3x3 veg tent and plan to start prepping them for the next grow cycle! If all goes well, for the next grow log, plan to dive straight into scrogging and will only be vegging for a week or two before flipping to flower! Thankfully the local weather seems to finally be cooling off. Still warmer than I’d like for drying, but gonna keep growing forward. Since this week was mainly a dry week, may start trimming by the end of next week. This grow is flying by at warp speed! Anyways, onwards to next week! Garden is looking ripe and ready for harvest! --- Bud colas are just stacked and frosty! --- Wow what an adventure this grow season has been! --- The weather is still hot and humid in the garden, but local weather does start to feel like it’s cooling down. I think. --- Gotta keep on growing! --- Before the harvest, decided to adjust the tent environment for drying. - [17:53]: Within the AC Infinity App, --- For the Main Tent [4x4] controller, --- Switched the 'Flower [12/12]' Schedule to 'Drying [0/24].’ --- For the Grow Light (Mars Hydro FC-6500): ------ The Mode is temporarily set to ‘Continuous On Mode’ ------ The Max value is set to 1 --- For the Exhaust Fan (AC Infinity CloudLine T6): ------ The Mode to ‘Continuous Auto’ ------ The Humidity HIGH trigger’s value is set to 70% ------ The Humidity buffer value is set to 3% --- For the Humidifier (AC Infinity CloudForge T7): ------ The Mode is set to ‘Continuous Auto’ ------ The Low value is set to 53% ------ The Minimum/Maximum value is set to 0/8 ------ The Temperature buffer value is set to 3% - [18:17]: Going to defoliate a bit. --- Using a pair of clean trimmers, --- Removed as many of the damaged leaves as possible. --- Focused mainly on #2 and #4. - [19:33]: Also defoliated the GGC2024 plant. --- Removed the soil sensor, garden wires, and binder clips. --- Time to film the final submission video! - [20:12]: Using my phone’s camera, I filmed a video showing off the plant from all angles along with measuring of several buds. Also had to show the roots by lifting the plant out of the container. --- For the final submission, also needed to take 8 photos. - [20:35]: Finally, time to HARVEST! --- Going to be harvesting all 6 plants, but will be logging weight data for only the main plants. --- Using a basic hacksaw, --- Cut the base of each plant and hung them upside down. --- This time, going to do two trim passes. Going to try wet trimming. --- Using a pair of clean trimmers, defoliated all of the damaged leaves. --- Also removed most of the fan leaves. --- Mulched the trimmings onto the top soil of both EarthBoxes. --- Each plant was attached to the light using garden yo-yos. --- Also raised the light up a bit more. --- Pretty much raised it as high as it will go (just under the carbon filter). --- Once the plants are fully dried, will do a second (dry) trim pass before curing in glass jars. --- Okay! Time to weight the main 3 plants! --- One at a time, - [23:14]: Using a fish hook-scale, --- Took the wet weight for #1: ------ She weighed 6.2oz (175.76g) --- Took the wet weight for #2: ------ She weighed 9.3oz (263.65g) --- Took the wet weight for #4: ------ She weighed 19.4oz (549.98g) --- Also took the wet weight for the GGC2024 plant. ------ She weighed 1.1oz (31.18g) --- #4 clearly is the winner for both overall health and biomass. --- She weighs more than the combined total of the rest of the 3 phenos. Wow! --- The 5-gallon fabric pot has crushed two 9-gallon EarthBoxes. Both surprised and impressed! --- Getting even more hyped for the next grow! All the plants will be growing in 5 and 7-gallon fabric pots. --- Anyways, --- Since I’m harvesting a full tent, going to hang them stationary and won’t be using any spinners. --- Just like the last dry cycle, going to be leaving the soil in the tent. --- For air circulation, have a fan both above and below the drying plants. --- The top fan is angled up towards the ceiling while the bottom fan is angled down towards the floor. --- Hopefully this will create enough in-direct air movement to prevent molding or bud rot. - [23:22]: Within the AC Infinity App, --- For the Main Tent [4x4] controller, --- Adjusted the 'Drying [0/24]' Schedule for the grow light. ------ Switched the Mode from ‘Continuous On’ to ‘Continuous Off’ --- Another grow cycle complete! --- Now for the 10-14 day slow dry. --- Let the drying begin! - [23:32]: Checked on the vegging 3x3 tent, --- Looking great my ladies! Growth is looking green for the most part. --- Starting to see some deficiencies, but have been intentionally neglecting and starving these plants to stretch out the phase. --- Still need to wait a good two weeks before placing these girls into flower. This may seem like a lot of time, but while working a fulltime job, my perception of the passage of time has been accelerated. There is still some sort of leaf stress, but growth looks perky! --- Top growth is still also a yellow.
